This is a great park for all kinds of activities. There is a lake for kayaking, swimming and fishing. There are miles of trails for walking, running or biking. There are large fields for flying kites or playing games.
I have greatly enjoyed all of my experiences at Millenium Park. I have been there on multiple occasions for races (5k, Half Marathon, etc...) and really enjoy the scenery and area surrounding the park. I have also gone with friends during the summer to hang out on the beach in the park and it is wonderful to have that kind of a place so near to downtown GR. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere with high quality construction and presentation. The surrounding trails are awesome for biking/walking around in nature set away from any buildings or houses.
A very nice large park that has everything that you would want to do. Splash pad and beach for the kids to swim and play in. Nice areas to take kids fishing. You won't catch and trophies but you sure can stay busy and keep the kids interested. Ample parking and miles of walking trails that go back into the woods and untouched nature areas. Highly recommended. Can get really busy at times thought.
Love the little beach and the splash pad. Prices aren't bad but bring your own food. The food court is very expensive for every day stuff that wasn't prepared that well.
Great park, lots of trails, good for running, walking, or biking, or what have you. Small beach, fenced in, nice splash pad, and police presence makes me feel safe. My kids and I love to come here.
